Why this matters on your contract
In Nepal the structural question is never only whether a frame carries its load. It is how the frame behaves when the ground moves, whether the detailing at the joints will actually deliver the ductility the analysis assumes, and whether what is drawn can be placed by the crew who will be tying the steel.
Our structural work covers new design, independent design review and assessment of existing buildings. We model in ETABS, SAP2000 and SAFE, detail to the Nepal National Building Code, and pay particular attention to the beam-column joints, confinement and lap positions where seismic performance is genuinely decided.

What the service includes
Every element below is covered as standard. Anything outside it is quoted separately and agreed before we begin.
NBC-compliant seismic detailing
Ductile detailing of joints, confinement zones, lap and anchorage lengths, with drawings that show the reinforcement as it must actually be placed.
Foundation design
Isolated, combined, raft and pile foundations designed against the geotechnical report, including settlement and uplift checks.
Independent design review
Verification of another engineer's model, load path, member sizing and detailing, with findings ranked by structural consequence.
Condition assessment
Survey of existing buildings covering visible distress, cover and carbonation, member capacity and seismic vulnerability.
Retrofit and strengthening strategy
Jacketing, bracing, shear wall insertion and foundation strengthening options priced against one another so the decision is commercial as well as technical.

How we do this differently

Detailing is where seismic performance lives
An elegant model with poor joint detailing is a hazard. We spend disproportionate effort on the detail sheets, because that is what gets built.

Buildable reinforcement
We check congestion at beam-column junctions before issue. If bars cannot physically be placed, the drawing is wrong regardless of what the model says.
03
Models are handed over
You receive the ETABS or SAFE file itself. No consultant should be able to hold your project hostage through file ownership.

Yes. We carry out visual and instrumented condition assessment, estimate member capacities from as-built dimensions and available records, and report vulnerability with prioritised strengthening options and indicative costs.
Regularly. Independent structural review is one of the cheapest risk reductions available on a building project, and it is usually completed within a week for a standard multi-storey frame.
