Why this matters on your contract
A civil design is only finished when someone can build from it. Drawings that are technically correct but dimensionally incomplete generate a stream of site queries, each one a small delay and an opening for a variation claim. We treat the site engineer as the real audience for every sheet we issue.
Our civil team works across roads, drainage, water supply, earthworks and general site development, to Nepal Road Standards, departmental specifications and the relevant district rate framework. Where a design decision has a cost consequence — a steeper gradient against a longer retaining wall, a deeper invert against a pumping station — we set the options out with quantities attached so the choice is made on numbers.

What the service includes
Every element below is covered as standard. Anything outside it is quoted separately and agreed before we begin.
Drainage and hydraulic design
Catchment analysis, culvert and drain sizing, outfall design and roadside drainage detailing sized for realistic return periods.
Earthwork and mass-haul optimisation
Cut and fill balance, haul distance analysis and borrow or spoil strategy — usually the single largest cost lever on a road package.
Retaining and protection structures
Gravity, cantilever and gabion retaining walls, slope protection and river training works appropriate to hill and terai conditions.
Water supply and distribution
Pipeline sizing, reservoir capacity, pressure zoning, house connection layouts and thrust block detailing.
Site development and layout
Grading plans, access and internal roads, parking, external services routing and boundary treatment.

Every drawing is checked for the setting-out information a site engineer actually needs. Missing dimensions are treated as errors, not omissions.

Yes, and we begin by auditing what exists so you know precisely what is usable. We will tell you if starting again is faster and cheaper than repairing an incomplete set — sometimes it is.
Always, unless you ask us not to. Take-off sheets are handed over with the drawing set so the quantity can be traced to the exact sheet and dimension it came from.
