Consultancy & Design
Baseline programmes, resource histograms and method statements that reflect how the work will actually be executed — and that hold up as evidence when time becomes contentious.
Overview
A programme has two jobs. The first is to sequence the work so resources arrive when they are needed. The second, which most contractors discover too late, is to serve as the evidential baseline for every time-related claim on the contract. A programme built carelessly fails at both.
We build baselines that reflect real productivity, real access constraints and real procurement lead times — then maintain them so that when a delay event occurs, the impact can be demonstrated rather than argued. Every extension of time we have won began with a schedule that was credible on day one.
Scope
Every element below is covered as standard. Anything outside it is quoted separately and agreed before we begin.
Activity breakdown, logic, durations and calendars built from first-principles productivity rather than back-fitted to the contract end date.
Identification of the driving path, near-critical paths and where float genuinely exists — so management attention goes to the right place.
Labour, plant and material histograms with cash flow curves, used to test whether the programme is physically achievable.
Written construction methodology for critical or high-risk activities, suitable for client submission and site briefing.
Periodic updates against baseline with variance analysis, recovery options and a short narrative anyone can read.
As-planned versus as-built and time-impact analysis prepared to a standard that supports formal claim submission.
Our Approach
01
Programmes are structured from the outset so that a delay can be demonstrated on the critical path months later.
02
We build durations from output rates and crew sizes. A programme that only works if nothing goes wrong is not a programme.
03
Every programme comes with a narrative and a one-page visual that a director or client representative can absorb in two minutes.

A bidding document, a contract, a stalled bill, a stack of unrecorded measurements — whatever the position, a senior engineer will review it and come back within one working day with a written assessment, a timeline and a fixed price. There is no charge for this and nothing to sign.
